Vintage 1951 Hertel KJV Blue Ribbon New Standard Reference Family Holy Bible The New Standard Alphabetical Indexed HOLY BIBLE (authorized King James Version)Containing the Old and New TestamentsPublished by John A. Hertel Co (1951) About the Book:This is a very nice large (11 3/4″ x 9 1/2″ x 2 1/2″) 1951 Very Dark Brown Leather (very durable cover) Hertel New Standard KJV School and Library Reference Edition Bible. It contains the Old and New Testaments translated ou fo the original tongues and with all former translations diligently compared and revised, to which are added Many Unique Features! The presentation page is blank, ribbon marker smooth, gilt is in clean condition and pages are clean, smooth, flat and free of any marks or notations. There is also an extensive Concordance and maps. The words of Christ are in red in this edition and there are illustrated scenes from the Scriptures occasionally throughout. It’s a really nice large KJV Reference Bible in beautiful condition that’s a delight to read. If you’re looking for a great coffee table book, this one has some beautiful color artwork which definitely has some nice presence when opened up on a table or desk. Condition:Excellent Faux Leather-Bound Book! If it wasn’t for a few small cover marks, I would say LIKE NEW! The binding is tight and all pages within are bright white with NO WRITING, UNDERLINING, HIGH-LIGHTING, RIPS, TEARS, BENDS OR FOLDS. It just has a few minor cover marks as can be seen in my photos. This is a Family Bible with tons of pages to be filled out to personalize this bible to you! None of these pages have been filled out. This rare book literally appears like it was purchased in 1951, then sat on a shelf untouched for the last 73 years!
