2003 FERNANDES BOBA FETT RETROROCKET STAR WARS GUITAR #75 out of 75 – New with Original Case, Tags and PaperworkVery rare, very collectible, never played. Comes with Star Wars guitar case, Certificate of Authenticity and original tags. This guitar is #75 out of only 75 made, so this is the last Boba Fett ever manufactured. See photos to see this guitar in up-close detail.Based on the Fernandes Retrorocket model, these guitars have Boba Fett graphics created by a computer controlled painting process with vibrant images on the body and the neck culminating with the Boba Fett logo on the fretboard. The STAR WARS Retrorocket guitar has an alder Strat-style body, bolt on maple neck and fretboard with HSS Fernandes Vintage Elite pickups and synchronized tremolo. As part of the Fernandes Star Wars Collector’s Series, production was limited to 75 for North America and each one was individually serial numbered and came with a certificate of authenticity. They also came with a “Star Wars” molded case and a “Star Wars, Fernandes” logo plate. THE STORY: Fernandes Guitars International in association with Lucasfilm Ltd introduced the Star Wars Series of guitars in 2002, marking the release of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The series consisted of two standard Fernandes models (the Retrorocket and the Nomad) but decorated in Star Wars using a computer controlled painting process. The Stratocaster-style Fernandes Star Wars Retrorocket models were produced in limited numbers: 75 Boba Fett, 65 Yoda, 250 Darth Vader and 250 Storm Trooper models were released. Fernandes advertised the Darth Vader and Storm Trooper Retrorockets first (in 2002) so it is likely that Boba Fett and Yoda were later additions – This explains why there were fewer made of these designs. The Darth Vader & Storm Trooper designs have a large Star Wars logo on the fretboard, Yoda & Boba Fett have a smaller Star Wars logo on the body. SPECS : Alder body, tremolo bridge, Fernandes Vintage Elite pickups, 2 single coil pickups and 1 humbucker pickup. 2 control knobs, 5-way pickup selector switch, 1 tone control, 1 volume control. 25.5 inch scale length, Black hardware, maple fingerboard, maple bolt-on neck, 1.625 inch neck width, composite nut, six-in-a-row tuners.This guitar will be shipped by FedEx Ground – U.S. Shipping Only.
