Up for grabs is a nice set of rare Mullard EL84/6BQ5 tubes. rX1 series tubes with grey plates and O-getters. MATCHED set of used tubes with plenty of life remaining to enjoy. Desirable early production tubes with the wavy/mottled glass. Made in the famous Mullard Blackburn factory with Matched date codes of rx1/B1L2 and shown in photos. The secret to the famous VOX chime in their amps. These tubes will wake up the tone of any vintage or newer production tube amps using the EL84/6BQ5 tubes that typically come with low quality JJ, Russian or Chinese tubes stock. Analog tested on a fully calibrated and modernized Hickok 539c and digitally tested and displayed on the Divo/Orange tester for its ease of interpretation by buyers.
