General Description: This is an exquisite and versatile coat or jacket by Michael Michael Kors in 100% cotton poplin that hits below mid thigh. This is a mid-weight jacket that can be worn in spring and fall or in a milder winter. The color is called “safari green” that’s a muted deep olive green (the comparable Pantone shade that I could find is 18-0617 called Covert green.) This particular Kors’ piece was a stand-out piece in one of his prior spring collections and sold for $225.00. Here’s why: Take a look at all the interesting details like the bright gold toned logo buttons down the front, the leather patches with gold studs on the front pockets and on the leather on the drawstring cords, the gold toned bar chain inside at the neck, and the gold toned end cap on the adjustable neck cords. Also there’s a bright gold toned zipper pull. Then there’s the orange lining on the inside top back section and inside behind the top and bottom chest pockets, inside the hood, inside the pockets and inside the bottom pocket flaps, and on a strip that sits behind one side of the front zipper that shows down the front when open. As for adjustability: There’s a drawstring at the bottom that you can tie where you want it, there’s a drawstring at the waist that you can adjust with the leather toggle pieces, and there’s a drawstring at the neck that’s under the collar that you can adjust with the leather toggle pieces. There are two long but narrow pockets at the chest and two large pockets on the front bottom with flaps detailed with a contrasting cotton fabric. The sleeves have cuffs that close with two gold-toned logo metal buttons that can be rolled. The jacket is partially lined in orange. This coat closes with a hidden single zipper and five gold toned buttons that hook to loops. As for how you can change the look: 1. You can wear it as shown in my main photo or wear it open showing an orange strip down the front. 2. You can wear it with a large collar showing or the entire front can be zipped up to a stand up collar. 3. You can wear it with the hood if needed zipped all the way up or with the larger collar showing. This jacket runs true to size or a size (14) regular but please check my measurements to make sure. Please Note: On a couple a photos above the bottom pockets the photos show wrinkles. What you are really seeing are three rows of stitching where the the toggle waist is located. In person it’s a really nice detail on the front. Details and Description:1. Four front pockets. Two narrower vertical ones at the top and two very large ones at the bottom with a flap that closes the opening. The top pockets have leather pieces with gold toned studs at the top and bottom. The bottom ones have flaps with cotton trimming around the flaps.2. Partially lined inside at the top back, inside the pockets, and the hood in orange.3. Front hidden zip closure with with gold toned logo zipper pull. Closure also includes gold toned logo buttons that go into olive loops. 4. Outside toggle waist adjustable and three row seaming that shows on the outside where the waist adjustment was placed.5. Adjustable at the bottom with single cotton round cord.6. Larger sized collar that can be worn folded down or zipped all the way up to a stand-up collar.7. Sleeves have cuffs with two metal button closure.8. The color is a darker olive green that Kors called “safari.”9. The fabric feels like a fine cotton poplin10. Inside at neck is a Kors bar chain.11. Leather patches on the front pockets and on the neck and waist adjustable drawstrings as shown and one each on the back sides down about where the top of the bottom pockets hits.12. Average sized hood lined in the orange.13. The inside orange lining around the front top and bottom pockets also has the small gold studs at the corners.14. Back is plain but has three rows of double stitched seaming: one row down the center and one on each side. There’s also horizontal double row seaming where the adjustable waist is located. The back also has two leather patches with studs at the sides below the waist and near the top of the bottom pockets.15. Large MK logo on inside neck.16. The hood does not detach.17. Raglan sleeves. Fit: Regular and straight. Not sized as oversized or loose fitting. Condition: Excellent like new condition. Has never been worn. Stored in a smoke free environment. Fabric: The outer shell is 100% cottonLining: 100% cotton Measurements: Across front of jacket buttoned from armpit to armpit =22″From shoulder of jacket to bottom = 33″. Will hit average height person just below mid thigh.Sleeves from top of shoulder to bottom of cuff =26”. Sleeves can be rolled and would show the olive green color. Care: Machine wash cold..
