Ultra rare model, yet along in this condition: Top condition, considering it’s age, gently used, has the original Fortis stainless steel bracelet. Checked it for accuracy and reserve and it functions, keeping good time for it’s age. Super rare medium sized case, impossible to find it nowadays. Swiss made. Automatic self winding movement. In today’s world it is very simple to keep it complicated, but very complicated to keep it simple. Its fascinating and unique beauty lies in its sheer simplicity. Timeless design. EXTREMELY RARE MODEL !!! A unique designed light alloy container style case that has a silver chrome finish, shock protection for the crown and a flat mineral crystal glass, will safeguard your precious timepiece for many years to come. The deep black dial with applied stainless steel indices for the hours, silver printed Mercedes Benz logotype at 12 o’clock, date in window at 3 o’clock and the Mercedes Benz star logo on the tip of the second’s hand, will flatter any wrist with it’s elegant and timeless design. The glass bottom allows you to admire the <>, a fine Swiss made, self winding movement, which incorporates no fewer than 25 Jewels and has a power reserve of 36 hours. The original stainless steel bracelet by Fortis, secures the watch on your wrist and closes with a jewelry clasp, allowing an exact sizing for your own wrist. The snap-on glass bottom makes the watch water resistant to 30 meters / 3 ATM (tho avoid any contact with water, it is a vintage timepiece, treat it accordingly). ATTENTION !!! HOWEVER: The water resistance of a wristwatch is constantly challenged by mechanical wear caused by bumps, shocks etc., rapid changes in temperature, caustic acids, chemicals, etc. and can therefore not be guaranteed as a permanent condition. On a side-note: only very few specially trained and equipped divers reach depths of 100 m and wear professional computers to indicate the life-saving compression- and decompression data; at such depths, normal watches will just not do.
