As per Steve Hoffman and Film Score Monthly chat pages, only 3 copies known to exist and speculation is that it is TRUE MONO not a “fold down” mix of STEREO tapes. Stamped matrix: Side 1: (stamped) WPRM-3960 – 1S Side 2: (stamped) WPRM-3961 – 1S From FSM: “I’ve read that the mono version of the US LP of Hair – Original Broadway Cast RCA Victor LOC-1150 is impossibly rare. I’ve looked for it on and off on ebay over the years but no luck. I did find a photo of the label once (it was the black label, dog on top style) online but I don’t have the link anymore.
