Firestik SS-174 Hood/Trunk Channel Mount with 3/8×24 for Antennas Up to 48″ Designed for hood and trunk applications, these stainless steel mounts go on the inside channel of your hood or trunk. There are no visible mounting holes required. All mounting hardware (also stainless steel) is hidden inside the hood or trunk channel. Includes four #12 x 1/2″ Philips panhead stainless steel sheet metal screws (use a #20, 0.161″ drill for the screw pilot holes). Mount comes complete with antenna mounting stud. The SS-174 fits well in the deeper hood channels found on many of the newer Ford and Chevy pick-ups. This mount isn’t limited to pick-ups. It can be used on just about any vehicle with a hood and/or trunk. The bracket measures 2.9″ (74cm) from the mounting base to the top of the bracket itself. The height from the mounting base to the first bend is 2.1″ (53mm) so it can be used on channels with depths up to 2″ (51mm). Payment Payment We accept payment by: Paypal. We guarantee our MARS/CAP modifications will not void the manufacturers warranty for a period of 1 year. However damage caused by transmitting outside the ham bands may not be covered under warranty. Generally, radios that have been modified after purchase are not returnable.If your order was damaged in shipping or appears to have been opened prior to delivery, please notify the delivery driver and report the problem to GigaParts within 2 business days. Claims for items missing from your shipment must be reported to GigaParts within 2 business days of delivery and the shipping box and all packaging materials must be retained until the claim is settled. Shipping cartons are designed to protect your item while in transit and damage to boxes or packaging materials is not grounds for a claim unless the actual item sustained damage. Returns Returns GigaParts accepts returns for refund or replacement within 30 days of the original invoice date. Defective items can be returned for a full refund or replacement. Items returned as defective will be tested to verify all claims. After testing, if the item is found to be functioning properly, the buyer may incur restocking and/or shipping fees being deducted from the refund.GigaParts will provide a prepaid return label for defective returns so long as the item is shipping within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states).
