This tube has a very clear and warm sound and was built to last. This is a very linear tube which sounds great at any volume or in really any amplifier. A very versatile and affordable workhorse tube. The 12AU7 is interchangeable with a variety of tubes including the ECC82, 6189 and E82CC. This is the standard pin version.. Precision Testing & Matching Test Data on the Box Power Tubes: Checked for shorts, gas and leaks. Tested for and or matched by Plate Current (Ip) and General Mututal Transconductance (Gm) at real world voltages on a Maxi-Matcher tube tester. Preamp Tubes: Checked for shorts, gas and leaks. Tested for and or matched by Gain and General Mututal Transconductance (Gm) at real world voltages on a Maxi-Matcher Preamp II tube tester. Rectifier Tubes: Checked for shorts, gas and leaks.
