Thanks for looking!With 660 cards, Fleer maintains its consistency, keeping things in line with both 1981 and 1982.The first 628 are regular player cards, all sorted by team. Besides the Hall of Fame trio, other Rookie Cards include Willie McGee, Frank Viola Gary Gaetti and Howard Johnson.And then there’s Ron Kittle, making his only appearance in one of the “Big 3” brand’s base releases. There was a time when this was a tremendously hot card. More importantly, it carried tremendous influence that’s easily overlooked today. The Rookie Card chase is a fairly recent development in the larger history of the hobby and, as strange as it may seem today, this is one of the cards that helped establish the craze.The Super Star Special subset is synonymous with 1980s Fleer Baseball cards.
