There are 4 import factors to consider: 1. MOUNTING POINT. Determine what portion of your boat you want the top to cover. Mounting point will be the mid-point of your Bimini top’s length. Keep in mind that the mounting point you choose will impact the size of frame you need, the shade it will provide and which part of the boat will get shade. 2. WIDTH: The width of the frame depends on mounting point. Mounting Points will be the mid point of your Bimini top’s length. Simply measure the widths between the points where you will be attaching Bimini top to the boat, measure across your boat from gunnel to gunnel (side to side).
