Up for your consideration is an adorable vintage 1987 Tom Clark “Bride and Groom” Cairn Studio~Signed & Numbered. It stands 5″ tall and the diameter of the base is 3″. Excellent Preowned Condition! No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Please use all photo’s for an accurate description. Note: I have many more of these adorable figurines due to be listed in the coming weeks. Stay Tuned 🙂 About the Artists: Tom Clark regrettably passed away January 14, 2022 at the age of 93. Thomas F Clark was the lead artist for Cairn Studio, Ltd. He was the most well-known artist in America today, world renowned for his charming clay sculptures, he was the most prolific and talented sculptor in the figurine industry. He created a wide variety of statues, from imaginative gnomes and wood spirits, to various rendition of people from all walks of life, including great people in history. The irresistibly human expressions of his Wood spirits, Mountaineers, and Seafaring characters have captured the fancy of collectors throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia (especially Japan!). Dr. Clark and Cairn Studios have been commissioned to create artworks for a wide variety of businesses and organizations, including The Easter Seal Society, various NASCAR drivers, Lance Corporation, The Boy Scouts of America, The Cub Scouts of America, The National Shriners and Mason Charities, Xerox Corporation, Hospice, QVC, Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, We’re Hear for You, Michigan State, and many, many others.Tim Wolfe: Tim’s love of nature led him to study animal anatomy at A.I.T. in Janesville, Wisconsin and in 1983, Tim moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to continue his education in Commercial Art and Advertising Design. During that time, Tim began sculpting for an art manufacturer in Davidson, North Carolina. Over the next 12 years, he had built a large collection of over 300 sculptures and had amassed a loyal following. Tim’s remarkable understanding and knowledge of both animal and human anatomy, combined with an extraordinary artistic talent has led him to international recognition for his sculpture. His artworks now reside in thousands of private collections throughout the world.
